Throne of Gems Opens the 2026 Competitive Season

The inaugural league of the Ragnarok Pro Circuit 2026 will begin on March 4 and go through March 29. This first stage, called Throne of Gems, is where players enter the season’s major competitions. Guilds must perform well here in order to move up the competitive calendar.

Match times are every Wednesday and Sunday from 20:00 to 22:00 GMT-3. The timing aligns with evening hours in Argentina and Brazil, where a significant percentage of the regional player base is active. League 2 and League 3 will take place later in the season, however their official dates are still pending.

The traditional War of Emperium mechanism is used in the Throne of Gems league. Since the beginning of Ragnarok Online, guild competition has been defined by this framework. The goal of large-scale sieges is for guilds to seize and protect castles in various towns.

During the fighting window, each castle stands for territory control. The castle’s Emperium crystal must be broken by a guild in order to keep it intact until the end of the session. Which guilds advance in the league standings based on their performance during these sieges.

Castle Rankings Determine the Point System

Every city contains several castles with different point values. Castle A offers the highest reward at 1.0 point, while Castle B gives 0.8 points. Castle C awards 0.7 points, Castle D gives 0.6 points, and Castle E provides 0.5 points.

This structure places stronger attention on the top castles. Many guilds compete heavily for Castle A because of its value. Lower-tier castles still matter because steady control across multiple battles can shape the overall standings.

The battlefield location changes after each battle day. Once a war session ends, the next session moves to a different city. The castle values reset during each new rotation, which introduces fresh targets for every guild.

This system prevents one group from holding the same high-value location every week. Guilds must adapt to new layouts, new defensive routes, and different castle positions across the map.

League Results Decide the Major 1 Qualifiers

Over the course of the league time, points from every battle session add up. Up until the final match day on March 29, the standings are still in effect. Qualification spots will only be awarded to the top six guilds.

These six teams will move forward to Major 1. The league therefore serves as a critical filter that identifies the strongest guild rosters before the next stage of the circuit.

The Ragnarok Pro Circuit 2026 follows a multi-stage progression. Guilds first compete in leagues, then advance into Majors if they rank high enough. Majors then decide which teams can chase a place at the Ragnarok Landverse Championship 2026.

Major events use a closed bracket system that combines Round Robin matches with Double Elimination rounds. This format highlights strategic depth and teamwork. Only finalists and winners typically collect enough circuit points to challenge for the global championship.

Championship Prize Pool Signals Growing Competition

The previous Ragnarok Landverse Championship ended with a prize pool exceeding $300,000. That payout placed the tournament among the larger rewards in blockchain-based gaming competition.

A similar level of attention is expected for the 2026 edition. Guilds from different Landverse regions will compete for both prestige and a major share of the prize pool.

How Players Can Join the Competitive Scene

Players who previously explored Ragnarok Online Landverse can join the circuit through community channels. Guild recruitment usually happens through the official ROLA Discord server. Teams organize rosters there before entering league matches.

Battle updates appear on the official ROLA social channels before each war session. These announcements show which castles will open for siege and help guilds prepare strategies ahead of the fight.

On December 18, 2025, Maxion Tech launched the Ragnarok Online Landverse Americas server with license support from Gravity Co., Ltd. The game builds on the original MMORPG by including blockchain features like token-based systems and onchain assets.

The infrastructure depends on the Ronin Network, which supports the asset ownership concept and in-game economy. Players still enjoy classic gaming elements even as new systems, such as the ION token economy, add more progression mechanics.
