If you’re a PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium subscriber, get excited. Sony has added 8 new titles to PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium. This is one of the best rosters that a subscriber has been treated to this year.
This month’s catalog features some large-scale open-world adventures, indie atmospheric fare, Souls-like action, and good old retro bliss. The latest additions are Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2. Subscribers can start adding these games on May 19.
Let’s look at what the new May 2026 releases have in store.

Star Wars Outlaws is the clear star of this month’s addition. The story is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. You play as a scoundrel (Kay Vess) in need of freedom and ways to begin a new life. The smooth open-world planetary travel and high-stakes heist gameplay is a joy for many gamers.

Arthur Morgan and Van der Linde return to the PS Plus Catalog with a triumph. Red Dead Redemption 2 is still one of the most technically astute and emotionally compelling games ever to be created. And in case you missed its last trip to the service, you should not snooze on this 3D Western epic. It comes with access to Red Dead Online as well.

To the fans of Souls-lite combat, Flintlock is a refreshing blend of axe gameplay and gun gameplay. The Old Gods have come back to cause havoc in the world, and you will take the lead with gunpowder and magic in the last battle of humanity. The swiftness and flow of its traversal, facilitated by your mystical fox-friend Enki, are helpful.
Enotria: The Final Song (PS5)

A follow-up of the Soulslike tradition, Enotria: The Last Song is an Italian-themed, folklore-inspired, “Summer-Soulslike” game. Contrasting the dim and gloomy recent paths of most games in the genre, Enotria is filled with sun-filled scenery. Alternate your playstyle with the power of Ardore to transform the world around you and switch between various masks to change your gameplay in real-time.

Point-and-click royalty returns! You’re getting 4K visuals & remastered audio. But the storyline that made George Stobbart a household name in the 90s still remains.

The arcade icon comes to the current consoles with some new tricks. It is the home port version, which is based on the 1997 home port and, most notably, has modern gyro aiming. Although you may not own the plastic G-Con light gun, the motion controls are a nostalgic experience of reloading by ducking and firing through international terrorists.
