Mythical Games, the renowned publisher behind popular web3 game titles like Blankos Block Party, NFL Rivals, and Gods Unchained, has successfully raised $37 million in a recent Series C1 funding round led by Scytale Digital.

Serving as a catalyst to boost its upcoming revenue-generating ventures such as a new marketplace and new web3 games, the funding was also accompanied by participation from industry leaders such as Animoca Brands, Moonpay, ARK Invest, and Andreessen Horowitz.

Despite the amazingly large amount received, Mythical Games is poised to receive further funding in the coming months, ranging between $20 and $30 million. The company aims to utilize the funds to launch exciting new ventures and to further boost its line of fun-filled yet genre-defining web3 games.

NFL Rivals On the Rise

Amidst their recent success, Mythical Games proudly celebrated the milestone achievement of their fantasy-football NFT game, NFL Rivals, surpassing over 1 million downloads. The game was marketed as a casual and fun game that due to its frictionless onboarding and user-friendly design, was set to onboard many gamers to crypto.

So far, we have seen successful ventures toward its goal. NFL Rivals is currently inching its web3 mechanics to its audience, slowly but surely.

Building on this momentum, the company has exciting plans to launch Nitro National World Tour later this year, an adrenaline-fueled racing game set to captivate players in the beloved racing video game genre. Mythical Games has partnered with prominent car manufacturers such as Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Mazda to deliver an unparalleled racing experience.
