How to Get the Crafter Cape at TwitchCon
Getting the Crafter Cape means being at TwitchCon Rotterdam in person there is no way around that. Players need to collect three Emerald stickers by attending Minecraft sessions or joining activities set up at the venue. Fill all three slots on the Inventory Ribbon and then swing by the Cape Trader inside the Minecraft Village area to pick up a Cape Card. Step 1: Pick Up the Inventory Ribbon
The first thing to do after arriving at TwitchCon is head to the Swag Bag kiosk near the badge and wristband pickup area. Minecraft staff there will hand out the Inventory Ribbon, which clips onto the event badge and holds three empty slots for the Emerald stickers. Without this ribbon, there is no way to track progress toward the cape, so grabbing it first is essential before doing anything else at the event.
Step 2: Earn Three Emerald Stickers
Each Emerald sticker comes from attending one qualifying Minecraft session or completing one Minecraft activity at the venue. Repeating the same session or activity does not count toward additional stickers, so players need to mix things up across three different options. Saturday sessions include events like The Midoffs LIVE by Tubbo and Minecraft LIVE in the Twitch Rivals Arena. Sunday has options like Couriway’s 10,000th Speedrun Live and the Minecraft Gauntlet. Activities on the floor include things like the Sulfur Slide, Be the Chicken Jockey, and the Dungeons 2 Note Block Challenge.
Step 3: Redeem the Cape Card for the Crafter Cape
Once the ribbon has all three stickers filled, head to the Cape Trader area inside the Minecraft Village section of the arena. Staff there will check the completed ribbon and scan the event wristband before handing over a Cape Card. The card has a unique 25-character code that unlocks the Crafter Cape when entered on the Minecraft redemption page. Each player can claim one cape, and there is no cap on how many are distributed at the event overall.
How to Get the Builder Cape Online
The Builder Cape is for everyone who is not flying to Rotterdam. Mojang has not dropped the full instructions yet; those come out during Minecraft Live on May 30, live on YouTube and Twitch. Past events usually involved watching specific streams or knocking out a few quick online tasks to get a code. Nobody knows the exact requirements until the stream starts, so just show up on May 30 and follow along in real time before the code window closes.
