Illuvium, the blockchain-based NFT game universe, has introduced a new feature called Albums. The Albums are binders that showcase all of your Illuvitar NFT collection. This feature gives players a new way to display and keep track of their Illuvium collections.

Illuvium has been gaining popularity after the release of its three-ponged game universe, Arena, Overworld, and Zero. In Overworld, players have the opportunity to catch and collect several NFT creatures called Illuvitars.

Illuvium Albums Features

The release of Albums gives players the opportunity to express their creativity with how they present their collection. Users can keep track of their collection and can observe its growth as they purchase and collect more.

Collections are showcased depending on their criteria, such as for Headwear accessories or for a certain type of Illuvitar. More importantly, the team has a competitive system for the collection of Illuvitars.

Illuvitars have a power rating based on their rarity which means the higher the power, the higher the points when you add it to a collection in Illuvium: Beyond. Points can also be earned from completing Milestones, or the Collection itself. Moreover, Accessories can also act as power multipliers when bound to your Illuvitar.

The points you earn will go towards your leaderboard rank, adding a higher level of competitiveness and excitement for players to keep collecting and competing.

Illuvium NFT Collection

This release of Albums coincides with the recent release of their newest customizable NFT collection, called Illuvium Beyond coming out this March 7th, 2023. Illuvitars can be sleeved into collections for points and traded on the IlluviDex, Illuvium's in-built decentralized exchange.

Illuvium seeks to make Illuvitars the most iconic NFT collection in web3 gaming. Joining forces with Binance, Chainlink, and ImmutableX, Illuvium is hell-bent on providing its users with a fully-customizable and interactive NFT collection for blockchain gamers.

Final Thoughts

Illuvium is a free-to-play NFT-powered game world that allows players to explore and collect unique NFTs called Illuvitars. Depending on which one you play, you will be introduced to a vast sci-fi world full of discovery.

The release of Albums is sure to nurture the collective-based competitiveness that comes with this web3 game genre. This will also attract newer players through this exciting new prospect of collectivity.
