End of Abyss is a top-down sci-fi horror game launching next month on Epic Games Store. Buy it and the Fortnite End of Abyss Cel skin lands in the locker for free on October 1 at 8 PM ET. Skip the game and the skin still shows up in the Item Shop the same day at 1,500 V-Bucks.
How to Get the Fortnite End of Abyss Cel Skin for Free

- Open the Epic Games Store app or website

- Click the game listing and purchase the Standard Edition at $29.99
- The Cel skin unlocks in the Fortnite Locker on October 1, 2026 at 8 PM ET

Cel wears her futuristic diving suit from End of Abyss with the round diving helmet included. Her weapon sits holstered on the right leg. The skin ports her design directly from the game without any Fortnite-specific styling changes — the look is clean and science fiction-heavy.
The suit design stands out in Chapter 7 Season 4 Override’s current roster. Most recent collabs lean toward fantasy or pop culture aesthetics — Cel’s industrial sci-fi look is a different direction entirely.
How to Buy the Fortnite End of Abyss Cel Skin in the Item Shop
Players who do not want to buy End of Abyss can grab the Cel skin from the Fortnite Item Shop instead. It goes live October 1 at 8 PM ET. Steps to buy:
- Open Fortnite and go to the Item Shop tab
- Search for “End of Abyss” or browse until the skin appears
- Select the Cel skin at 1,500 V-Bucks
- Hold the Purchase button to confirm
- Check the Locker — the skin appears immediately after purchase
No specific end date is confirmed. The skin rotates out of the Item Shop sometime in mid-October 2026. Players who want it from the shop have a few weeks after October 1 before it disappears. Save V-Bucks before October hits — Fortnitemares 2026 launches the same day as the Cel skin and brings its own set of collab cosmetics to spend on.

Is It Worth Buying End of Abyss for the Free Cel Skin
End of Abyss at $29.99 works out cheaper than buying the Cel skin at 1,500 V-Bucks if the game itself has any appeal. Players who enjoy top-down action games — The Ascent comparisons have come up in early coverage — get the game and the skin for less than the skin costs in V-Bucks at standard conversion rates.
Players who have no interest in End of Abyss can skip the purchase and go straight to the Item Shop on October 1 without missing anything exclusive. The free path and the Item Shop path give the same skin — no cup-exclusive emote or additional cosmetics separate the two methods.
Final Thoughts
Fortnite End of Abyss Cel skin unlocks October 1 at 8 PM ET through either path. Buy the game on Epic Games Store for $29.99 and get it free. Skip the game and buy from the Item Shop at 1,500 V-Bucks. No exclusive cosmetics separate the two options. The skin leaves mid-October — decide before it goes.
