Traits in Anime Squadron give units specific stat boosts that can completely change how they perform in battle. A unit with the right trait can punch above its tier while a unit with a poor trait falls short of its potential. Strong units combined with strong traits are how endgame content gets cleared consistently.

How to Roll Traits in Anime Squadron
Rolling traits run through the Traits NPC in the Upgrade area. Head to the Upgrade area and interact with the NPC. Click the plus button, select the unit to assign a trait to, then hit the Roll button. Each roll costs Trait Shards and assigns a random trait based on the roll chance table above.

The Auto Reroll button speeds this up significantly. Click the Config button first and select the traits to target, then Auto Reroll handles the rolling automatically until one of those traits lands. This saves a lot of time when chasing low-chance traits like Entrepreneur or Superior.
How to Roll Sub-Traits
Sub-traits can appear during a normal trait roll at a low chance. There is no way to lock a trait or sub-trait before rerolling, so the recommendation is to keep any high-tier trait rather than risk losing it by continuing to roll. If a Superior or Cloner lands, stop rolling on that unit.

How to Get Trait Shards
Trait Shards are the currency used for rolling. They come from completing quests, battle pass rewards, group rewards, milestone rewards, and challenges. Shards can also be bought with Robux.
