The first Battle Royale quest set went live October 1. All four quests work in Battle Royale and Zero Build.

Horde Rush Nitemare One Quests
Three Horde Rush quests went live October 1 alongside the Battle Royale set. Horde Rush is the returning PvE mode where players fight waves of monsters instead of other players.

What Comes on October 8
Three new quest sets unlock on October 8 — Battle Royale Nitemare Two, Horde Rush Nitemare Two, and Reload Nitemare One. None of these are live yet. The Reload Nitemare One set is the one most players are waiting on — Reload has the largest active player base of any non-BR mode in Fortnite right now.

All three sets carry XP rewards and push the overall quest count closer to 26 for the Jack-A-Nape skin.All quests track progress across Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload. Switching modes mid-way through a quest keeps the progress — no need to finish everything in one mode. Players who struggle in Battle Royale can do the combat quests in Horde Rush against AI monsters instead.
