A Fan Just Built the GTA 6 Vice City Map in Full 3D
GTA 6 fans on Discord have been mapping Vice City for months, pulling screenshots from trailers and matching them to locations. Robert Luxemburg grabbed all of that and built it into a full 3D tour anyone can navigate. Click a spot and an official GTA 6 screenshot from Rockstar’s promo material loads up for that location. Two trailers have been enough to get surprisingly far with this; the project is more complete than it has any right to be at this stage.

The community has been going frame by frame through both trailers, cross-referencing promo images from Rockstar’s site to pin down streets, landmarks, and districts. Street corners have been identified. Beaches placed. Districts mapped. That kind of obsessive attention only happens when a fanbase has been sitting on years of anticipation and finally has something productive to do with it.
Download It and Fly Over the Whole Map for Free
Luxemburg put the project up as a free open-source GitHub download that runs on PC. The interactive version has a low-poly plane built in so players can fly the full length of the map from above. Seeing Vice City laid out from that angle hits differently than scrolling through screenshots the city actually feels like a place. GTA 6 pre-orders are still not live and November is months away. This project is what the community is keeping itself busy with in the meantime.
GTA 6 spans the full State of Leonida, not just the capital. Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, and other districts sit alongside Vice City on the full map, and Rockstar has already dropped enough trailer and website material for the community to place most of them. Seeing the whole state laid out together in 3D makes the scale feel bigger than any single trailer clip suggests. Most players watching the trailers had no idea how much ground was already visible if you knew where to look.

Trailer 3 in June Could Push the Project Even Further
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told investors that GTA 6 summer marketing starts in June 2026, right alongside Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase. Fans want Trailer 3 specifically because it should show more of the map than either previous trailer did. The Discord community will have new footage to work from the moment it drops, and Luxemburg’s project will almost certainly see a major update within days.
Final Thoughts
Luxemburg’s 3D map is the most complete fan version of Vice City that exists right now. It is free, it runs on any PC, and it gives a better read on the map’s actual scale than anything Rockstar has published. Trailer 3 will close a lot of the blank spots still showing. Until that drops, flying over Vice City in a low-poly plane is the closest anyone gets to the real thing before November 19.
