Epic Games has just announced the first-ever Fortnite Community Day on Saturday, May 30. This 24-hour event packs massive value. Players can unlock rare unreleased cosmetics, enjoy custom gameplay modes, and catch a sneak peek at the upcoming season.

Community Day kicks off at 9:00 AM ET on May 30. The rewards and XP boosts last for only 24 hours. Here is everything you need to know to maximize your rewards and experience the chaos.

You get free loot just for logging in. If you enter the game between May 30 at 9:00 AM ET and May 31 at 9:00 AM ET, you will receive two exclusive cosmetics.

The first item is the Reflector weapon wrap. This all-silver skin was leaked back in 2020 as part of the Silver Surfer set but never officially dropped. The second item is the Community Brella.

It is an all-black umbrella glider that looks like the legendary John Wick “One Shot” umbrella. If you own a Battle Pass or Fortnite Crew subscription, you’ll get an extra bonus. Logging in grants you a special office-ready, tie-wearing variant of The Foundation (Reforged).

Epic Games is rewarding players who secure a Victory Royale during the event. Winning a standard Battle Royale match on Saturday unlocks three more vault items. These cosmetics have spent years sitting hidden in the game files.

Your victory earns you the Lemmie Axe pickaxe and the Space Blaster weapon wrap. You will also unlock The Loons back bling. This balloon back bling belongs to the unreleased Brilliant Bomber skin, which first leaked in 2019.

Twitch Drops: Cheap Item Shop Bundles

You can unlock more gear by watching your favorite streamers. Tune into participating Fortnite content creators on Twitch during Community Day to earn exclusive Twitch Drops.

These drops include accessories from the Metal Menace bundle. Earning these pieces reduces the price of the full bundle in the Item Shop. When the Skulldroid skin returns to the rotation, you can buy the remaining bundle for just 200 V-Bucks.

The island loot pool is getting a chaotic makeover for 24 hours. Regular chests are being replaced with rare blue chests. Players can hunt down golden firework guns, finger guns, and supercharged pizza slices.

Epic Games is also rolling out a massive XP boost. Playing any match during Community Day will yield heavily multiplied experience points. This makes it the perfect time to finish your Battle Pass before the season ends.

The Chaos Power Hour and Live Event Teaser

The biggest highlight of the day is the “Power Hour.” This special window runs for one hour from 12:30 PM PT to 1:30 PM PT (3:30 PM ET to 4:30 PM ET) on May 30.

During this hour, every standard Battle Royale match changes completely. All players will spawn into the match with an automatic self-revive item, a Cube Rifle, and the mythical Infinity Blade. It promises pure, unadulterated matchmaking chaos.

More importantly, the Power Hour will trigger an in-game teaser event. This live teaser serves as the prelude to the grand season finale event happening next Friday. It will provide the community with its very first official clues regarding Chapter 7 Season 3, which launches on June 6.

Make sure you set your alarms. You only have 24 hours to grab these unreleased vaulted items, and only one hour to experience the Infinity Blade madness.
