Finding sprites on the map is quite easy. You can find them wandering around wild in various locations across the island. If you do not see any in the open, check inside standard chests and loot containers.
Another reliable way to grab them is by hunting down players. Defeated enemies drop whatever sprites they were carrying right on the floor.
Finally, you can get them between matches. If you saved a sprite before, use a terminal to summon a fresh version. This costs sprite dust (a new in-game currency) and resets the creature to level one.

- Earth: Higher chance to find rare items in chests.

How to Use and Level Up Your Sprites
Using a sprite is simple but requires strategy. When you pick one up, it slots into a new dedicated inventory space. The little spirit floats right on your character’s back. While it sits there, you gain its unique passive ability.
You can carry extra sprites in normal slots, though they won’t give powers there. To make your Sprite stronger, you need to level it up. Do this by opening chests or eliminating enemies while the spirit is active on your back.
High-level sprites have massively amplified powers. However, the stakes are high. If you die without winning or saving your Sprite, it disappears forever, and you lose all progress.
The Art of Sprite Extraction
To keep your spirits permanently, you must extract them. Look for extraction points across the map and call in a specialized canister. Be careful, though. The canister takes 30 seconds to arrive. It makes loud noises and bright lights that attract nearby players.
Once it lands, deposit your sprites to earn sprite dust. Spend this dust at terminals to upgrade weapons or buy items. Battle Pass owners can also use extracted sprites to customize “The Guardian” mech suit skin.
