The Star Atlas team has just announced that the Star Atlas: Golden Era Movement Test is coming out on April 26th. Continuing from the Start Sequence Campaign last year, the movement test is going to be called Escape Velocity.

In a recent tweet by Star Atlas, the team introduces Escape Velocity as a movement testing grounds for the Star Atlas: Golden Era. It features real-time and on-chain movement mechanics, and it will be up to the community to test out its features.
Aside from testing, players will be able to travel across the maps, explore and scan environments to access loot. The highlight from the event is the potential rewards players can get for participating. It will feature up to five tiers of loot:
- Copper
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
Collect, loot, and earn will be available during the testing. Escape Velocity will go live on the Solana mainnet. Players can participate by connecting their wallets and dedicating $ATLAS tokens by locking them.
More information is said to be revealed as we get closer to the date and when it goes live. This is definitely a welcome addition as well as a positive development for the Star Atlas community. The game is currently reaching new heights as we speak, having released exclusive content from its town hall meetings.
