After a very successful debut of the Alpha Box airdrop campaign, Binance has announced the second event. Today, February 19, the 2nd Alpha Box Airdrop officially goes live, and the community is already showing excitement.

The second outing is a little different from the first. While the airdrop involves two tokens, Janction (JCT) and Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT), participants will be able to claim only one. Like the first event, Alpha traders need to hold at least 242 Alpha points to qualify.

If you don’t have enough Alpha Points to participate in this airdrop, don’t worry; there are also other exciting reward programs on Binance that you can participate in. New users can earn $100 in USDT and 10% trading fee rebates when they sign up using the Binance Referral Code: O0BTS35.

The Second Alpha Box Airdrop Campaign Details

The Alpha Box is a relatively new experiment from Binance Wallet. Instead of a traditional airdrop where you get a specific amount of one token, the Alpha Box is more of a “mystery bag” or a “blind box.”

Binance aggregates tokens from several different projects and throws them into a single prize pool. This is the second event of its kind on Binance Alpha, and the details are contained below:

  • Launch Date: February 19, 10:00 (UTC)
  • Availability: 24-Hour limited-time campaign
  • Eligibility: 242 Binance Alpha Points (APs)
  • Rewards: Janction (JCT) or Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT)
  • Reward Distribution: 20,600 JCT or 95 ICNT

For this airdrop, you either receive 20,600 JCT or 95 ICNT tokens, not both. The content of the box is distributed randomly, so participants don’t get to choose which tokens they receive.

Per CoinMarketCap data, each $JUT token is worth $0.0017, putting the airdrop valuation at around $35. The $ICNT is priced at $0.37 per token, per CoinMarketCap. This gives it a similar value as the $JUT airdrop.

  • Claim Window: You have a 24-hour window to confirm your claim before Binance redistributes your allocation.
  • Distribution: Check your “Assets” tab under the “Alpha” section once you’ve claimed to see which project you won.

Early participants get a better chance of claiming this airdrop. Also, if the reward pool is not fully distributed, the score threshold will automatically decrease by 5 points every 5 minutes.

About the Projects

Janction (JCT) is a decentralized, blockchain-based marketplace for AI computing power (GPUs). It allows people with extra computing power to rent it out, while AI developers can rent it at lower costs, essentially acting as an Airbnb for AI infrastructure.

It uses smart contracts to automatically match providers with renters, manage payments, and verify that the work was done correctly using “Zero-Knowledge Proofs.” Janction creates a “decentralized GPU pool.” The goal is to make AI computing cheaper, faster, and accessible to everyone, not just big tech companies.

The Impossible Cloud Network (ICN) is a next-generation, decentralized cloud storage and computing platform. It competes with industry giants like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud.

Instead of relying on a few massive, central data centers, ICN spreads data and processing across a global network of independent, high-performance, enterprise-grade data centers.

Final Thoughts

The Binance 2nd Alpha Box Airdrop launching on February 19 is another example of how Binance continues rewarding its ecosystem participants. While it’s not guaranteed to be massive, it’s a low-effort opportunity if you’re already active on Binance.
