The highly anticipated journey into the Four Nations is going to take just a little bit longer. Publishers Gameplay Group International and PM Studios have announced that Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is officially delayed.

While fans won’t need to experience GTA VI level delays, there’s also some good news along with this delay. According to PM Studios, the delay is necessary for a better launch. Here’s everything you need to know about the delay and new release schedule.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game was supposed to launch on July 2. PM Studios announced that the game will now launch on July 23. While a delay is a delay, Avatar fans are thankful they aren’t treated to the GTA VI experience.

The publisher explains that the three-week delay will allow them add more value for players. In the three weeks, the team will include new content in order to “cook up an exceptional Avatar adventure” for fans.

PM Studios refuses to say what the new content is. However, they aim to make sure the game is more robust and polished by the time of launch. And, since the delay is just 3 weeks, many Avatar fans who want a smooth day one experience don’t seem to mind.
